Richard Sorapure is a consultant geophysicist with extensive experience in marine geology and geophysics in the offshore oil and gas sector, civil engineering, dredging and construction fields. Projects undertaken include client representation, geophysical interpretation, desk studies, quality control, feasibility reports, project management, preparation of survey specifications, expert witness and arbitration disputes.     

Company Profile 

The Company was incorporated in Singapore in 1992. Projects in SE Asia region ranged from client supervisory services to data interpretation. From 1996 - 2003 operations relocated to the UK concentrating on the busy submarine fibre optic cable sector and the emerging renewable markets. With a decline in the cable industry attention switched to high resolution rig site surveys. From  2004 to the present there has been increasing activity in the oil and gas sector. 

Richard Sorapure, owner of Pacific Geoservices, has over 25 years survey experience.  He has supervised a large number of projects worldwide for the oil majors such as Shell, BP, Total and Exxonmobil achieving optimal data quality and completion of projects within budget. He was elected a Fellow of the Geological Society in 1994 and a Chartered Geologist in 1998.
